Photographs were taken of the group performing at the National Trust's Stourhead Gardens, during their Festival of the Voice in 2009 and 2011. The music is taken from La Nova Singers' first CD, 'DEBUT'; it was recorded live in concert at St Mary's Church, Dorchester in 2009. Live recording at Pelgrimskerk, Badhoevedorp - The Netherlands, 2014. Indonesian Mass is a project of combining Indonesian folk music elements and Western contemporary music writing. Each movements of the Mass represents one island from Indonesia. Gloria represents West Papua island, with traditional yelling and voice imitation of the traditional nose-flute.  

This setting of the Communion Service uses mainly the Mixolydian and Dorian modes (with short excursions into Lydian and Aeolian and occasionally jazzy modes). It is performed by the composer - multitracking.
