We currently have about 35-40 members and new members are always welcome. We meet Monday evenings, Sept through May, at Greenmeadow Waldorf School in Chestnut Ridge, NY.  

Aghias Triados Children's choir was established in 1967 by a talented young Musician, Theodore Papakonstantinou (1948-1969), who had time only to install the foundations of the choir. However, he managed to leave a lot of song harmonizations and a ...  more Aghias Triados Children's choir was established in 1967 by a talented young Musician, Theodore Papakonstantinou (1948-1969), who had time only to install the foundations of the choir. However, he managed to leave a lot of song harmonizations and a significant Mass, which is sung by the choir in the Aghias Triados church of Thessaloniki. From 1969 till now, the choir continues its work successfully having as its director his elder brother Vassilis Papakonstantinou, with whom it has given many concerts in more than fifty cities in Greece and aboard, as well. It has visited Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerlandn, Hungary, Czech, Bulgaria, France etc. It has won first prices and gold metals in choir competitions. One of the most important parts of Aghias Triados Children's choir's history is its participation with European Union Youth Orchestra and Vienna's Youth choir, to the performance (Athens, 1985) of the third Symphony of Leonard Bernstein under the direction of the composer.  less

Our mission is to create a Boychoir that over time will become one of the finest in the country. The United States doesn't have the history of boy choirs that many European countries do but we can accomplish great things by educating boys in the art of singing and performing the finest Music in the boy choir tradition. Teaching young boys the commitment and work necessary to accomplish a goal develops character, discipline, leadership, global awareness, and a strong commitment to excellence. The Fortis Boy choir can and will accomplish these goals. We will help boys to feel good about what they can be and take these lessons with them into their future families and businesses.  less

It has grown to a higher level by achieving numerous titles within the past few years and also recognized as the best Tenor Bass voices from a School choir around the country. (Title gained 2014 onwards). The choir has performed in National and International level stages (2012 Rome) and hosting many choral events in negombo including the biggest carol service in Negombo since 2007.(Maris Carols). It is trained by Mr. Francis De Almeida (Choral Director) since 2004. This choir has influences some Youth choirs including Speranza , etc.... And also the Past Pupils choir (The Old Maris choir).
