To promote excellence in community music making, the choral masterworks of both known and lesser known composers, the continuing musical and vocal development of its membership and to enhance access to choral music for all segments of the community.

We are a UK based chamber choir of 24 voices specialising in sacred music from the Renaissance period (c.1480-1550) and contemporary choral music (2000 onwards). We look for the unknown and the unsung. Composers such as Robert White, Jean Mouton and Jean L'Heritier are amongst our repertoire. In addition we champion the music from current composers such a Miskinis, Part and Dubra. In addition we love singing Tallis, Byrd and Tomkins, Tye, Victoria, Guerrero and Padilla etc! We are based in Milton Keynes and have a reputation as being among the very best in the region. We are available for concerts and weddings, plus services in cathedrals and churches. We have provided the services at key UK cathedrals including Westminster Abbey, Salisbury, Hereford and Coventry to name a few.  less

The choir was formed in 2002 under the dir...  moreThe Vision of Peace Youth Choir are a group of singers from the ages of 13-30 who use their voices to expres their belief in Toil and Peaceful Life and the Welfare of the world is not Worth the Life of one Child! The choir was formed in 2002 under the directorship of Ellie Davidoff. Choir membership consists of youth from the 8th grade through to college age students. Now in their 13th season, this choir has grown in membership as well as experience. There are still several original members, and every season they are joined by their younger siblings and New friends, who add strength and spirit to the group. The repertoire of the Vision of Peace Youth Choir consists of hymns and folk songs sung in the traditional Doukhobor acapella style that has been passed from generation to generation for over 200 years. The hymns and folk songs as well as the contemporary numbers in their program selection reflect their Doukobor beliefs as well as their steadfast wish for a peaceful existence on this earth.  less

There are more than 150 works of various times (Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism and music of the twentieth century) and styles (choral concerts, choral miniatures and songs, spirituals, songs of different nations of the world, folk songs, Christmas music) at the repertoire of our choir. Modern Belarusian music takes a large part of our repertoire, thanks to that we are happy to open Belarus to other nations.

The choir aims to bring the people of Tower Hamlets (East London, UK) together to sing in a friendly and informal environment, and to make a joyful noise in the heart of the east end. There are no auditions, and songs will be taught primarily by ear, so you don’t need to be able to read music. Whether you’re a seasoned performer, or more of the shower-singer type — if you love to sing and you’re in the area, Sing Tower Hamlets is for you. We sing in a range of styles, from pop to gospel to show tunes, and do lots of fun warm-ups to build your confidence and free your voice!  less

Since its formation it has presented well over 100 perfor...  moreThe Elgar Chorale is a Worcester-based group of up to 40 singers, founded by Dr Donald Hunt which has always specialised in English music, with a particular emphasis on the works of Edward Elgar. Since its formation it has presented well over 100 performances and ppeared at each of the Worcester Three Choirs Festivals from 1981 to 1996. Performances have included world premières of works by Sir Richard Rodney Bennett, Herbert Sumsion and Howard Blake, and a British première of Leonard Bernstein’s Missa Brevis. The Chorale was also the principal choral group at the highly successful Elgar Festivals at Worcester in 2007 and 2009, and last year enjoyed a concert tour in Devon, singing at Colyton, Dartmouth, Exeter and Torquay. It is proud to have Dame Janet Baker, C.H as its Patron.  less
