A fantastic and welcome addition to the British choral tradition, Reverie is defined by its unique blend of voices and carefully crafted approach to interpretation. These engaging and distinctive qualities create a choral timbre perfectly suited to modern vocal repertoire.

The University Chorale is the touring ensemble for the choral department. The ensemble performs a wide spectrum of the finest choral literature. The group performs extensively throughout the Southwest and will be singing at several venues in Washington D.C. during December of 2013. The group primarily consists of vocal music majors, however, there are Singers representing several other academic disciplines. The University Chorale has been under the direction of J. Steven Walker since 1984. Dr. Walker is the Director of Choral Activities and a Linscheid Distinguished Teaching Professor at East Central University. Founded in 1979 by Dr. Robert Summer, The Master Chorale was later incorporated in 1988 as a 501(c)(3). Designated in 1989 as the Principal Chorus of The Florida Orchestra, The Master Chorale is featured annually on The Florida Orchestra’s Masterworks season. In 1999, The Master Chorale was appointed as Artist in Residence at the College of the Arts School of Music at the University of South Florida. When founding member Rick Rosen left California in mid-2003 to move back to Bucks County, the original group of west coast Singers went on hiatus. In its second life, and with the blessings of the founding Californians, Cordus Mundi was reborn in early 2005 in Bucks County. Now with fifteen voices, the Newest incarnation of Cordus Mundi has the flexibility and versatility to expand the group’s musical exploration into New areas - the repertoire is varied and eclectic, and the group includes two composers and several arrangers.
