What began as a small group of friends who were passionate about choral singing is now a well-established enterprise which is becoming a benchmark in Spain and abroad, as endorsed by the stream of prizes and invitations and the public and critical acclaim. The definitive point of this international recognition came in 2009, when the choir took part in the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing in Tours(France) after having triumphed in all the classes in the competition in Guido d’Arezzo (Italy) the previous year. With the common aim of enjoying choral music, and sharing that enjoyment with others, this project includes an adult choir of 40 mixed voices and a children’s choir (‘Los Peques’) with 50 members. We are a ladies' a cappella chorus who sing in barbershop style. We are based in Aberdeenshire, in north-east Scotland. As well as Scottish favourites, our repertoire includes traditional barbershop as well as recent pop and rock tunes.

Since then, we have not only grown in numbers but also in confidence and have showcased our talents at several Concerts and other public performances. We have an eclectic repertoire, singing a large variety of material, including classical, pop and show songs. The Choir is comprised of all ages, skills, interests & talents. We are open to all adults in the local and wider community. Some of our members are talented singers and musicians, although you don't have to be able to read music to join - some members had never sung outside the shower until they joined.  less
