Aimed mainly at Singers in the "young professional" category, it is for people who are looking for a choir with a difference - a great social atmosphere and a challenging, varied repertoire. An auditioned choir of around 25 members, Tamesis is a high-standard choir, capable of singing 8-part repertoire on a few rehearsals and having fun while doing it! We've just recorded our second CD which will be released in Autumn 2012.  

The Kinge's Quire was formed in 2008 to sing music from the Renaissance, as well as modern anthems and motets in the English choral tradition. The group is dedicated to offering opportunity for young Singers to sing advanced choral literature.

Our Singers come together from a wide range of towns in Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Each season we perform choral masterworks with professional soloists and a professional orchestra. We have recently performed: the Mozart Requiem, the Mass in B Minor by J.S. Bach and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Carmina Burana, Ola Gjeilo Dark Night of The Soul, and currently rehearsing the Verdi Messa Da Requiem under the artistic leadership of conductor Anne Watson Born. We love making great music together, and we work hard in rehearsals to bring an expressive and thrilling sound to our performances. We are a jovial and friendly group of people from all walks of life who enjoy singing together.  less

It is conducted by Evelyne BÉCHÉ, and accompanied at the piano by Dimitri NEGRIMOVSKI. The Choir is not only one of the actors of the cultural life of the university, but also an ambassador of it in the department of Sarthe, in France and abroad. Administratively, the Choir is an association (french law 1901). The repertoire of the Choir is varied: Classical music, gospel, jazz, music of the world, variety. Depending on the works, the Choir is accompanied by its regular pianist at the piano, by renowned orchestra, or by orchestra made up of professional musicians for specific events. Thompson. The 40-80 member A Cappella Choir offers freshman and sophomore Singers the opportunity to perform works for larger choirs and to fine-tune the art of choral singing through exposure to music from the Renaissance through the 21st century. In daily rehearsals, choir members hone musicianship skills such as rhythm, sight-reading and the understanding of complex scores. They develop an understanding of the intricacies of vocal production, including pitch and how to blend individual voices together into a unified, beautiful sound. Finally, members learn how to sing in an ensemble and to successfully meld as a team. The choir frequently performs with other School of Music ensembles, including the Utah Philharmonia orchestra, the Wind Ensemble, the Chamber Choir and Women’s Chorus. Udiana is unusual on the Israeli scene, has appeared on some of the best stages in the country, and is praised highly by the audiences. The choir sings mainly a capella, with an emphasis on current music, and integrates improvisation, drumming, and movement. Udiana has been supported by the Ministry for Culture and Sport since 2012. We aim to express processes in human development, so we build our programs around subjects that we research from different angles, including “Prayer”, “Song of the Earth”, “Peace”, and “Water”. In 2016 we created a program called “Silence” in collaboration with the Israeli Brass Quintet.
