The choir has 20 experienced Singers and performs between four and seven concerts each year, singing a variety of music from classical to light music. Our program has grown to 3 vocal jazz Ensembles. The music we perform represents a crossover of the jazz and popular music idioms. The students in the KCKCC VJ program learn Jazz Education through a variety of methods. First of all, each of these students take private vocal jazz coachings weekly. They also perform music by professional vocal Ensembles, arrangements by well-known vocal jazz educators, and learn jazz and popular music standards (both through the Ensemble and in private coachings).  less
