In their sound they’re combining variety of styles with an emphasis on gospel and pop. They won the 2nd prize in international competition in Verona, Italy in 2008. In 2011. they won silver prize in Rimini, and also, the special prize for the best group up to 12 singers. During 2012. they performed in 3 contests, in Gorizia (ITA) - 1st prize in pop cathegory, Graz (AUT) - bronze in pop cathegory and Rijeka (CRO) - 1st prize in gospel and jazz.  less

The No 1 mixed choir in Lithuania Founded in 2009, mixed voices Bel Canto Choir Vilnius is officially confirmed as the best volunteer choir in Lithuania. The Choir unites more than 60 singers, who have extensive singing experience in various choirs in Lithuania, and whose desire is to have quality leisure time and enjoy one of life’s most pleasant activities – singing. Their goal is to sing different styles of music and work with various other groups, present high quality musical projects, as well as take part in competitions and festivals in Lithuania and abroad. On December 1, 2013, Bel Canto Choir Vilnius rocked the country’s choral music scene and accomplished unthinkable. During the fourth year of its existence, the Choir won the Lithuania’s major National Choral Competition, thus becoming the best volunteer choir in the country. The Choir is currently looking for new members; the ability to read music is not essential, ...  moreThe Gillingham Male Voice Choir was established in 1988. The Choir is conducted by Paul Robinson and rehearses every Wednesday at the Gillingham Golf Club at 8pm. The Choir is currently looking for new members; the ability to read music is not essential, however, it is helpful and can be very useful. The Choir welcomes anyone who has a passion for singing. Like most traditional male voice choirs we learn all of our pieces from memory and do not use copies. The choir has a wide-ranging repertoire from West End showstoppers to opera, religious and traditional choral music. The Choir has gained a reputation for doing many concerts for charity and have raised a lot of money over the years for a number of different causes. The Choir has performed twice at the Royal Albert Hall with over one hundred choirs in the Festival of Brass and Voices for cancer research UK. The Choir has made several tours both at home and abroad and has raised thousands of pounds for charity totaling nearly £3000 in the past year alone  less

Several months previous, a number of likeminded individuals began to visualise the formation of a Male Choir for the Lower Llynfi Valley, something which this area of the County Borough of Bridgend, South Wales lacked. Following lengthy discussions with a number of experienced and well respected Choristers, we came up with some basic philosophies. • Keep the choir to a manageable size • Take our music to the community-at-large • Establish ourselves as a quality musical group • Encourage less experienced Choristers to grow in ability and musicality • Share our joy in singing One thing was fundamental, and that was to keep the choir `Ego-Free` their mantra being ‘Leave your Egos at the door as it’s the music that matters’. Their desire was to form a group in which lasting friendships would grow and be nurtured, with an aim to bond and enjoy singing, and at the same time, perform to the community, raise money for charity and have lots of pleasure doing so.
