The ‘Boys from Bath’ are a 60 voice auditioned Choir who have entertained audiences across the UK and toured Europe and the world performing in some of the most prestigious concert venues. In 2008 the Choir achieved national acclaim when they reached the finals of a Saturday evening BBC television Choir competition ‘Last Choir Standing’. The Choir sing a wide range of music from traditional, pop, gospel, musicals and secular music. Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the Choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals.
