To help celebrate this important milestone, Nashville Singers hosted a special "meet & greet" event honoring the Suntones in Nashville on May 12, 2011. The concert closed with a performance by The Suntones and the Nashville Singers singing Gene Cokeroft's stirring arrangement of Danny Boy, with solos by Gene and son Bruce. Last year after winning the St John’s group choral Rosebowl, this choir won both the Provincial Music Festival and the National Music Festival of Canada.
