Newly formed in 2022, the group is currently comprised of a mixed choir, a Men's choir, and a woMen's choir. The mixed choir meets at the Manchester Rugby Club, and the Men's and woMen's choirs meet at the Wilmslow Rugby Club. The repertoire consists of a little bit of everything - madrigals, movies, musicals, spirituals, shanties, serious songs, silly songs - everything. All singers are welcome, and there is no audition required. We sing as a team, one step at a time.  less

Herter, with assistance from Ryszard Gieros and Alfred Stefankiewicz. Almost from the very beginning, it has been afliated with St. John’s Archcathedral in Warsaw, initially as a boys’ choir. It has performed with many Polish and foreign symphony orchestras. Foreign tours have taken the choir to over twenty countries. It has won numerous awards at international choral competitions, including those in Lecco, Italy (1997), Moscow (2000), Prague (2002, 2003, 2004, 2017), Międzyzdroje, Poland (2004), Warsaw (2013, 2015, 2016), Grójec, Kraków and Łomża (2017). It has also taken part in several television and theatre productions. Cantores Minores is a co-founder of the Polish Section of the International Federation of Pueri Cantores. From its very beginning in October 16, 1956 and until now, it is made up exclusively of male students and graduates of National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (former Moscow Engineering Physics Institute). The choir’s directors have traditionally been exclusively women — talented choirmasters who represented the classical Russian choral school. The repertoire of the MEPhI Male Choir includes practically all genres of choral music: Russian and Western classics and spiritual music, opera choruses, works by modern composers, Russian folksongs, and some popular songs of the Soviet era.  less

The choir performs frequently both in Pontypridd and overseas, and has visited Poland, Ireland, the USA and Germany. Links have been forged with Liederkranz Oberensingen, a German male choir from Pontypridd's twin town, Nürtingen. The choir also performs regularly at the National Eisteddfod of Wales and takes part in the HTV male choral competition. The choir is currently broadening and improving its repertoire to provide a wide-ranging concert program. The choir is a member of the National Association of Choirs, the Welsh Association of Male Choirs and the Welsh Amateur Music Federation, and is a past winner of the HTV Male Choral Competition and at the National Eisteddfod of Wales.  less
