Established in 1979, Chicago Master Singers (CMS) is an auditioned chorus of 100 volunteer Singers from Chicago and suburban communities. The ensemble’s repertoire includes great choral works and new works by living composers. CMS performs unaccompanied, and also collaborates with professional instrumentalists and soloists. The chorus has international acclaim, having toured extensively throughout Europe for the past 30 years.  less

The choir presents liturgical music either written in, or translated to, the Hebrew language. In the few years of the choir's existence Liturgi-Kal is rapidly becoming much more visible on the Israeli music scene due to its emphasis on excellence coupled with the superb choice of musical partners. We sing challenging and rewarding music in a friendly committed environment with a wide range of ages and nationalities. We have a particular affinity for contemporary classical music, having won prizes for interpretation at home and abroad, and regularly present Irish premieres at our Dublin concerts.
