Singers are Therefore welcome to apply at any point, since The group will be fixed from a central pool for each Concert. Repertoire is wide-ranging, from Renaissance polyphony to commissions from established and emerging British composers. The group is directed by Hilary Campbell and welcomes interest from experienced and enthusiastic choral singers of all ages.

We are based in Chicago's western suburbs. ECU performs two major Concerts each season with full professional orchestra musicians and pro soloists, and also a mini-Concert of our singers in solos and duets with piano. We often appear as featured guest artists with Elmhurst Symphony and in local appearances. Our outstanding volunteer singers come from throughout The Chicago area for a unique musical experience. Our conductor James MacDonald has directed Choirs and orchestras throughout The U.S. and overseas, and teaches conducting and music Theory.
