We had the pleasure of learning this from them at a workshop before a joint concert in 2010. If you hunt YouTube you can find several clips of them performing it magnificently. The Revelations won two Gold and one Silver medal at the World choir games in Austria (2008) Singing choral a-cappella style music in the Gospel, Pop, and Male voice vocal ensemble categories. They were also declared world Champions in two of the categories after achieving the highest number of points in these two categories. It was an open invitation for men who wanted the informal experience of Singing within the ranks of a Welsh Male Vocie Choir and it proved to be a huge success. Several guests turned up for the experience and were treated to the full basics of vocal production and Singing within the choir by John Daniel. We are an auditioned chamber choir of 30-40 members who love sharing the joy of choral Singing with each other and our community. Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of musical genres and styles.
Because we seek to create meaningful musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances. Our audience members often tell us how much they love learning about the music from our director’s comments, which help them more fully enter into the music and enjoy it. less
