EFC is a choir of around 75 singers, attracting people from all parts of the South West region. We perform with professional orchestras and soloists, and aim to bring choral music of the highest quality to our audiences. Under the inspired and dynamic musical direction of Nigel Perrin, EFC has become one of the region’s most versatile and highly acclaimed choral groups. We provide a broad range of music for our audiences, covering a great variety of genres and periods; we revisit standard works within the choral repertoire and explore new challenges from the contemporary musical scene. We look for the unknown and the unsung. Composers such as Robert White, Jean Mouton and Jean L'Heritier are amongst our repertoire. In addition we champion the music from current composers such a Miskinis, Part and Dubra. In addition we love singing Tallis, Byrd and Tomkins, Tye, Victoria, Guerrero and Padilla etc! We are based in Milton Keynes and have a reputation as being among the very best in the region. We are available for concerts and weddings, plus services in cathedrals and churches. We have provided the services at key UK cathedrals including Westminster Abbey, Salisbury, Hereford and Coventry to name a few.  less
