Our artistic leader is Anna Azernikova. She is a Russian soprano and is performing in the best halls. The Royal Albert Hall in London, The Moscow Conservatory, The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. We are very happy with her professional guidance.

We are a mixed choir, putting on 3 concerts per year; a Spring concert with a wide...  moreFormed following the Newport National Eisteddfod (Welsh cultural festival) in 1988, Newport Philharmonic choir has gone from strength to strength over the past 25 years. We are a mixed choir, putting on 3 concerts per year; a Spring concert with a wide and varied mixture of music, an orchestral concert in the Autumn, and a charity Christmas concert. We can also be seen throughout the year taking part in various community events; singing at the local Christmas grotto, taking part in flash mobs and singing at weddings and funerals.  less

Newly formed in 2022, the group is currently comprised of a mixed choir, a men's choir, and a women's choir. The mixed choir meets at the Manchester Rugby Club, and the men's and women's choirs meet at the Wilmslow Rugby Club. The repertoire consists of a little bit of everything - madrigals, movies, musicals, spirituals, shanties, serious songs, silly songs - everything. All singers are welcome, and there is no audition required. We sing as a team, one step at a time.  less
