Bring us in good ale is a mediaeval drinking song. The premise of the song is that the singers (or players) want no food and so they find all sorts of reasons not to eat: they just want good ale!

Using the words "we apologise" from then-Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's historic 2008 apology to aboriginal Australians for past mistreatment, Davidson creates a beautiful soundscape by slowing the audio down by 250 times, the approximate ratio of aboriginal to modern presence in Australia. We use our voices to imitate this slow version. We then speed up the recording 250 times to see if we can hear Kevin Rudd's voice re-emerge. The result surprised us all!  less

Launched in 2006, this choir for treble and changing voices CONtinues to expand its horizons, develop its membership and satisy a variety of musical tastes. The choir has toured throughout British Columbia and Alberta. In July 2011, they sang in Ottawa at the Unisong festival for Canada Day, and in July 2013 the group was featured at the presitigious and exciting international Festival 500 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Wherever the choir travels, we spread the joy of music-making and hope to bring communities together through song.
