A fountain wher in this case the musical joy starts to spray it's joyful notes. The love for music and the willingness to reach a good choir sound is the starting point of this ambitious group of amateur Singers. The choir members originate from different kind of choral background (close harmony, church choir and oratorium choir). Endora consists of 8 sopranos, 8 altos, 5 tenors and 5 basses.

Through his diligent guidance, the group has impressed its audiences with the depth and range of its interpretive skills in performances of a capella early music repertoire. ESPRIT was awarded a first prize at the Peel Music Festival in April 2012, and is the proud recipient of the Hon. Barbara A. Hagerman Award for first place at the 2012 Ontario Provincial Music Festival. In August 2012, ESPRIT was awarded second place in the Canadian Nationals of the Federation of Canadian Music Festivals (Class 100 - Honourable Barbara A. Hagerman – Best performance by a community choral group 19 and up). As part of its mission the chorus seeks out performances in historical venues; in the summer of 2011, ESPRIT toured Montreal, Québec, performing at St-Joseph Oratory, Notre-Dame Basilica, Christ Church Cathedral and Marie-Reine-du-Monde Cathedral. The song is arranged with modern vocal effect and technique to express the atmosphere and environment of the poem. The poem describes a girl who has long been waiting for her lover to come back from far away. The clatter of horse hoofs has given her hope. However, it is just a passer-by, not her lover.

In May 2014, a concert entitled: “The CWU Choir...  more"Oft Have I Vowed" (Vijay Singh) is sung by The Central Washington University Chamber Choir (Gary Weidenaar, director) Composer Vijay Singh is a member of the Central Washington University music faculty. In May 2014, a concert entitled: “The CWU Choirs and Friends sing songs of Singh” was presented on the CWU Campus. In that concert, 28 of Singh’s pieces were performed by 6 choirs, including two invited guest high school choirs. Known for compositions such as Johnny Said No, and Medieval Gloria- this concert included those accessible compositions as well as some of the more challenging pieces, like this one. As of 2014, the CWU Chamber Choir also has recorded videos of the music of Gjeilo, Byrd, Gretchaninoff, Monteverdi, Muehleisen, Victoria, and Rautavaara on YouTube.
