The International Singers hold a unique status amongst choirs in France by means of our repertoire and composition. Bringing together very nearly 40 mixed voice Singers all sharing the same passion, they hail from countries from around the world and representative of 4 continents. The repertoire consists principally of contemporary music with anglo-saxon origins and from the very best of musical theatre as seen in London's West End or on Broadway in New York. The International Singers are beginning to wow the people of Lille and the surrounding areas of Northern France with concerts in public venues as well as at private functions organised by civic bodies as well as associations etc. Musical Objectives The International Singers is a choir structured around anglo-saxon values and traditions. During its 25 years of activity, the ensemble has won several first prizes in choral competitions in Israel and Europe, performed in many musical festivals and events, as well as TV shows and radio programs. The ensemble collaborated with top Israeli musicians such as Yoni Rechter, Alon Olearchik and many more. Since then, the ACS has established itself as a formidable presence in the Philippine musical landscape. Their unique specialization in sacred choral music has opened a richly eclectic mix of European, American and Asian choral literature that spans medieval to postmodern periods, traditional to contemporary styles, complex art music to highly-textured indigenous music, and moving sprituals to psalmody hewn out of traditional Asian musics.
