* Give to the Lord, you sons
of God, give to the Lord glory
and praise, give to the Lord the
glory due his name; adore the
Lord in holy attire.
* The voice of the Lord is
over the waters, the Lord, over
vast waters. The voice of the
Lord is mighty; the voice of the
Lord is majestic.
* The God of glory thunders,
and in his temple all say, "Glory!"
The Lord is enthroned
above the flood; the Lord is
enthroned as king forever. less

sung by the dwsChorale (multitracking one-man choir)
There rolls the deep where grew the tree
O earth, what changes hast thou seen!
There, where the long street roars, hath been
The stillness of the central sea
The hills are shadows, and they flow
From form to form, and nothing stands;
They melt like mist, the solid lands
Like clouds they shape themselves and go
But in my spirit will I dwell
And dream my dream, and hold it true;
For though my lips may breathe adieu
I cannot think the thing farewell less

Gowned as a bride thou art
Caught with the glow,
Giving with ruddy heart
Blood to the snow.
thou has come in to make
Dreams to the boy,
Lightly the girl will take
Omens of joy.
thou hast the taste of all
Sweethearts in Spring,
thou hast come out to call
Colours to sing.
Low rides the sun above,
Meek as the moon:
thou art as moist in love
As a love tune.
Still as a bride thou art
In a bride's gown:
See! an uplifted heart
Beats in a clown.

NGK The Lord Bless You And Keep You
Nidarosdomens Guttekor from Norway sing John Rutter's beautiful song The Lord Bless You And Keep You. I am sorry about the ending. The Norwegian lady had to tell people that "Shrek" would be coming up next. Surely she could have waited for a minute !!

Owing much to the polyphonic work of the Renaissance, the motet is a deeply-felt work written during Wesley's period of recuperation from a fall whilst out fishing in the North Yorkshire countryside at Helmsley. The chromatic clashes at the words "the bones which thou hast broken" are almost certainly reflective of the pain the composer had suffered, for his leg was badly broken and he walked ever after with a noticeable limp.
This performance was recorded in Leeds Minster on Sunday 28th April 2013 during the recital of 'Music with Minster connections' sung by St Peter's Singers of Leeds, directed by Dr Simon Lindley.
Leeds Minster, formerly Leeds Parish Church, has a long and distinguished musical history. The list of organists and past organists of the Parish Church of St Peter-at-Leeds is outstanding. 'Music with Minster connections' celebrated both this heritage and the status of Leed... less

Rejoice in the Lord Alway attributed to John Redford for one man choir
Rejoice in the Lord alway, and again I say rejoice.
Let your softness be known unto all men: the Lord is at hand.

Let your softness be known unto all men: the Lord is at hand.
Be careful for nothing: but in all prayer and supplication,
let your petitions be manifest unto God with giving of thanks.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding
keep your hearts and minds, through Christ Jesu
Amen.
(Words from Philippians IV. vv. 4 - 7)
