In May 2014, a concert entitled: “The CWU Choirs and Friends sing songs of Singh” was presented on the CWU Campus. In that concert, 28 of Singh’s pieces were performed by 6 choirs, including two invited guest high school choirs. Known for compositions such as Johnny Said No, and Medieval Gloria- this concert included those accessible compositions as well as some of the more challenging pieces, like this one. As of 2014, the CWU Chamber Choir also has recorded videos of the music of Gjeilo, Byrd, Gretchaninoff, Monteverdi, Muehleisen, Victoria, and Rautavaara on YouTube. We put on two "shows" each ...  moreThis fun-loving group of women enjoys Singing together, not just for the performance factor, but also for the pure joy of Singing together. We have about 25 members currently, but we are gaining new members each year. We put on two "shows" each year to raise funds that benefit the chorus as a whole. We also perform throughout the year at various venues - retirement communities, nursing homes, churches, banquets, and other events.

A community-friendly choir where no previous music experience is needed to be a part of. All you need to do is come with a smile and a passion for Singing. No auditions are required and, your first two weeks are on us. The People's Shoe Choir Cheltenham rehearses on Monday Afternoons and Thursday Evenings.  

Performed by The Singing Musicians choir and orchestra from The Republican Gymnasium-college in Belarus. Conducted by Alla Mazurova. Solos by Masha Shabunia and Tatiana Gavrilova. The choir consists of children ages 9-14.
