In a short time the Choir has achieved a valuable role in the Finnish community in The Netherlands. TAIKA practices in The Hague. The Choir has a wide repertoire, ranging from folk to pop, with an emphasis on Finnish female choral music. However, the Choir enthusiastically performs songs from all around the world. The Choir performs in a wide range of events hosted by businesses and organisations. In the spring of 2015 the Choir was performing for the first time abroad - in Finland. Summer 2017 Choir was in Verona, Italy, taking a part of an international Choir festival.  less

The Choir has a wide-ranging repertoire – from traditional sacred music to modern, contemporary compositions, popular arrangements and music from around the world. They perform regular concerts in London and the South East, as well as touring each year, with recent trips including Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Greece. In 2025 the Choir celebrated their 10th Birthday year, and the 25th anniversary of the founding of Northern Spirit Singers. Rehearsing monthly in central London, Southern Spirit Singers aim to perform the very highest standards of choral music in a relaxed and fun environment. In 2019 the Choir returned with four gold medals from the European Choir Games in Gothenburg. We uphold the tradition and art of male choral singing through the camaraderie of choral membership and in entertaining our audiences. We give our own concerts several times a year in Norwich and beyond, as well as appear at events by invitation. We were Special Guests of 'The People's Soprano' Rebecca Newman at her 2012 and Spring 2016 tour Norwich appearances and we put up a team to challenge the Eggheads for quiz supremacy! İnci Tığlı Ayağ. Since its foundation, Alegria Chamber Choir has been performing under the guidance of conductor İnci Tığlı Ayağ and assistant conductor Gözde Saatçioğlu. Between 2002 and 2008, Alegria Chamber Choir performed under the scope of Ankara Çoksesli Müzik Derneği (Ankara Polyphonic Music Association), a prestigious association which was founded in 1974. Since 2008, the Choir has been extending his repertoire and performing fully independently as a non-profit and non-governmental organization. The purpose of Alegria is to introduce to large audiences the world’s Choir repertoire from different periods and regions. YNS is a children's Choir organization of over 330 singers in 8 different Choirs ranging in age from grades 1- 12. Choirs consist of singers grouped by age and ability, as well as a Boys Choir and Young Men's Chorus

The name Singkronies means singing without pause, as well as the desire to sing in a synchronized manner. We are conducted by the talented conductor and tenor, Nicholas Nicolaidis.
