We are a friendly choir of all ages, who go on overseas tours every two to three years. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.15 to 9.30pm during term time.  

Modern Acapella, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Gospel - with or without band - whatever and whenever we sing, we rock the stage with passion and enthusiasm! We are currently around 50 ambitious amateur singers between 18 and 50 that share their love for choir music. Our biggest success was winning the German National choir Competition in 2010 in the category Jazz vocal et cetera - a capella.

We have fun as we build friendships with singers from many schools, sing a wide variety of music and bring joy to the community. We are ideal for singers who want more singing in their life! We are proud of our alumni singing at NOVA, NYU, JMU, UNT, Bridgewater, Longwood & Westchester.

Biography The Celestial City choir was initiated by two music students at University of Education, Winneba in 2010. It's formation or foundation began in early January 2011. The members who contributed to the founding were all members from Bantama Seventh-Day Adventist Church about 8 members. Later more hands were called in and official inauguration was done on June 4th 2011.  less
