The Choir performs ordinarily Music during Catholic Mass and other forms of Choir services in churches and events. The formation of this Catholic youth has agreed to give contribution to the church and the country as young generation through Music. In 2014, Manado Catholic Choir had established its junior member, named Manado Catholic Youth Choir (MCYC). The band sings mainly sacral, including orthodox Music, but also contemporary and folk. The Choir has rich concert activity in the country and abroad and with great success has participated in many choral contests and festivals. The ensemble performed hundreds of concerts and presented its skills at competitions and festivals in Germany, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and many others. The Choir has recorded a few CDs: "Bogoroditse Devo, Raduisya" from 2008, "Musica Sacra" from 2013, "Canticum Canticorum" from 2017. We sing a-cappella style Music in four-part harmony, called Barbershop. The songs we sing are varied, some old classics, some modern with a twist! In an effort to stay committed to singing and performing at the highest possible level, we compete each year in a national contest and we also perform our own annual Show to raise our profile in the community.
