The style of Singing is more 'pop' than classical and the choice of music reflects this, with the repertoire including show-tunes, popular songs from the 1930s to today, as well as classic barbershop arrangements. There are strong links to musical theatre in that most songs are choreographed, and performing skills are a key element in making a song work. We rehearse every Tuesday, 6:30pm-9:00pm, in central London between Kings Cross and St Paul's. This short film is the inaugural work of Darma Cendika Catholic University students. Hati, Melody, and Natal tells of a student who has migrated to Surabaya to forge an education. The student is active in the Student Choir Activity Unit. After going through several semesters, the student has a very deep longing to be able to meet his mother.
