Our aspiration is to take township choral singing to higher a level. We are also aiming at focusing more on choral projects and concerts than competitions so that our singers enjoy singing and get compensated for engaging in the choir. Choir members are taught Theory and History of music for free.

They train very hard and continuously challenge themselves to achieve higher goals by aiming to master pieces of ever increasing levels of difficulty, and never fail to enthrall their audiences with repertoire that ranges from Renaissance to the 21st century, and experimenting with pieces influenced by lavish flavours of cultures worldwide.  less

Au fil des années, la chorale a gagné en maturité artistique et les choristes qui rejoignaient les différents pupitres portaient désormais à leur actif des aptitudes vocales, musicales et humaines. Le répertoire chanté a également évolué vers des chants plus sophistiqués avec des polyphonies et des arrangements plus complexes mais qui gardent élégance et légèreté. Accompagnant cette évolution humaine et artistique marquant sa migration d’un chœur de jeunes à un chœur d’adultes, le Chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca a dû changer de dénomination et a adopté un nom autant fidèle à son identité qu’à sa nouvelle structure. Dès lors, le chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca devient « Chorale CASASAWT ». This is a ...  morePride, versatility and musical excellence best describe Newman Sound Men's Choir of St. John's, Newfoundland. Named after a beautiful and rugged region in Terra Nova National Park, the choir celebrates it's 10th anniversary season in 2014-2015. This is a true community choir of more than thirty experienced singers representing the professions of music, teaching, engineering, law, civil service, marketing, information technology and journalism. Nearly one-half of the choir's singers are students from across many disciplines of study. Newman Sound has realized an ever-growing loyal audience, a high local, national and international reputation and a very bright future having established an exciting and eclectic repertoire across the genres of classical, pop and folk including some outstanding arrangements and original compositions by several of the singers within the choir.  less

We are made up of 3 different choirs - Mixed Chorus, Treble Choir, and Concert Choir. All of our members are students at Port Huron Northern High School and range from 13-18 years of age. We all share a love of music and create joy through singing together.

Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival.  less
