A key feature of the choir's profile is its wide repertoire and creative concert formats. The choir's classical repertoire ranges from Monteverdi to Schnittke, its popular repertoire from folk tunes to pop/rock a cappella. Vox Humana has released two CDs and an award-winning music video.  

St. Edmundsbury Male Voice Choir was formed in 1988 and has grown to be one of the largest in East Anglia with over 100 members.

Performance by the Mansfield University Concert Choir conducted by Peggy Dettwiler at the 2014 World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia. They won a gold medal and second place in the Spiritual Category.

Repertoire is wide-r...  moreThe Blackheath Conservatoire’s chamber choir is aimed at experienced choral singers and works on a project basis. Singers are therefore welcome to apply at any point, since the group will be fixed from a Central pool for each concert. Repertoire is wide-ranging, from Renaissance polyphony to commissions from established and emerging British composers. The group is directed by Hilary Campbell and welcomes interest from experienced and enthusiastic choral singers of all ages.

We are passionate about polyphony! We love to sing music from regions around the world which have a strong tradition of singing in harmony. Music from Eastern Europe, Georgia, Africa and Jamaica etc finds its way into our repertoire. We also love to sing some beautiful classical works and Mozart, Bortniansky and Bach is much loved by the singers. Most of our music is unaccompanied, except when our very talented instrumentalists (guitar, harp, cello, ukes, bodhran...) bring their instruments.  less
