We are one of London's leading community Choirs, performing regularly in South East and Central London.

Since our first practice on 14 February 2013 the Choir has grown to over 80 members with around 60 attending each Thursday.

Daniel studied composition with Dr. Elaine Ross and was the recipient of the 2011 Opus 7 Undergraduate Composition Award for his piece "Cain," which was premiered in February 2011 by the Opus 7 Vocal Ensemble. Their stylish performances, featuring early Medieval plainchant right through to commissions of West Australian composers, have been delighting audiences and critics alike since 1995. The Consort prides itself on unearthing lesser-known early music (such as music of De Brossard, Certon, and Clereau), showcasing larger-scale choral masterpieces (Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers, various Bach Cantatas), and presenting High-quality interpretations of well-known classics (Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Durufle's Requiem, Britten's Hymn to St. Cecilia, Allegri's Miserere and Tavener's Song for Athene). In 2005 the local Council of the borough of North Down conferred the status of Borough Ambassador on Bangor Ladies Choir. This is the first conferment ever to an external Organisation outside of the Council Membership and the Choir were privileged and proud to accept this unique position.
