In March 2011, Plaisir Ensembe achieved a great success in the “1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition” organized by the INTERKULTUR. They won the Gold diploma, the Category Winner as well as the Overall Winner of Chamber Choirs. The Or Y-a Choir is a women's choir under the direction of Nomi Teplow. The choir is comprised of women of all ages from all over Samaria in Israel who come together to sing in a variety of musical styles in close harmony, to learn to sing and to have a good time.

Although it started as a small ensemble singing monophonic or at best diphone melodies without instrumental accompaniment, today has more than 80 choristers, mostly girls, 10-25 years old, and interprets as a triphonic choir almost all kinds of music, with an emphasis on the music of the nations and Greek composers. The organisation was set up by professional conductor, Emma Rowland, who suffers with anxiety and depression. Emma wanted to make choirs, and singing, more accessible to everyone. During the COVID lockdown, SOS has been offering FREE virtual choirs to the entire world. We're currently (June 2020) in 80 countries and working with thousands of singers each week.
