Established in 2003, this group was initiated by some Economics department students of Medan State University. Today, the members come from the very University and are not limited only for those who are studying in Medan State University, meaning everyone is welcomed to join the group.  

A unique cultural institution in East London since 1973, Hackney Singers are a 150-strong community choir drawing members from Hackney, surrounding boroughs and across London.

Hughes with accompaniment by pianist Lyudmila Lakisova, flautist Leslie Short, and oboist Deb Stevenson. The text comes from Isaac Watt's paraphrase of Psalm 23. We hope our performance demonstrates our love of singing together and our passion for sharing music with audiences.
