Its activities soon expanded and now include a regular concert programme, we...  moreLichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir was established in 1980 (by Peter King, then Assistant Organist at Lichfield Cathedral) to sing services during the Cathedral Choir's holidays. Its activities soon expanded and now include a regular concert programme, weddings and services throughout Staffordshire and the West Midlands, and guest appearances at other cathedrals. The Choir has a versatile repertoire of sacred and secular music ranging from the Renaissance to the contemporary, and it enjoys the challenge of new and experimental writing. Widely acclaimed Sunday morning broadcasts on BBC Radio 4 have raised its profile well beyond the region, as have its two appearances in the BBC Sainsbury's Choir of the Year Competition, several performances in the Lichfield International Festival, and the recordings 'In Every Corner Sing' (Regent REGCD196) & 'Belgian Choral Works' (Regent REGCD241) with the Lichfield Cathedral Choir and the Fine Arts Brass Ensemble. The group consists of musicians from around the South West and we perform at a wide range of venues all over the country. Our repertoire includes traditional choral music as well as contemporary arrangements of popular songs, film scores and jazz standards. We are available for hire and can provide an atmosphere and presence to meet the needs of any event.  

The Huntington University Concert Choir features 16 to 36 members – all who go through an audition process for selection in this on-campus mixed choir group.

Six Degree Singers has featured in events all around the D.C.-metro area, including the Silver Spring Loy Krathong Thai Festival and the Chesapeake-Potomac Invitational Bonspiel, an annual curling event, and was recently selected to perform in the closing concert of the Kennedy Center's National Choral Festival in 2014. As a registered non-profit organization, Six Degree Singers also participates in outreach activities at various charity events and retirement communities.  less
