Undertakes to be a space for youth have contact with concert choral music. The group sings a diverse and technically challenging repertoire, exploring different sounds and new musical languages. In his repertoire are works by composers as Janequin, Scarlatti, Bach, Beethoven, Whitacre, Widmer, Stroope, Jobim and Ronaldo Miranda. The styles range from classical to popular, jazz, spirituals, sacred music, Brazilian Popular Music, opera and musicals. Since its formation is conducted by Altamiro Bernardes and has Lana Bernardes as assistant conductor. The choir members receive training in Vocal technique, music reading, perception, music history, harmony and musical aesthetics, always in the context of choral activity and a language for young people. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). Swan. Foreward: Santiago Veros wrote Almas de Barro at the age of 19, dedicating it to a young woman who at the time was shy and with whom he rarely talked. This piece intimately describes the moments during music theory classes when the two would look at each other continuously, youthfully, and silently, as if unable to do anything else. The piece, written as a counterpoint assignment, was intended to be performed during music theory class as a declaration of love. The idea was to make a musical representation of those moments. The piece begins without words, the voices representing youthful looks. They come together and occasionally dodge each other to highlight the discomfort ...    less
