Established in 1979, Chicago Master Singers (CMS) is an auditioned chorus of 100 volunteer singers from Chicago and suburban communities. The Ensemble’s repertoire includes great choral works and new works by living composers. CMS performs unaccompanied, and also collaborates with professional instrumentalists and soloists. This was The Vocal Artists Bon Voyage concert prior to Their Argentine tour and performance at The 9th International World Choral Symposium. "Stars" was commissioned by and dedicated to The Salt Lake Vocal Artists and Brady Allred. This piece calls for tuned glasses and specifically tuned Tibetan Singing bowls.
