Winner of the first prize in Warsaw International Choir Festival 2007. Our repertoire contains International music, but especially Arabic Songs from different heritages (Lebanese, Palestinian, Egyptian, Iraqi, Syrian, Mouashah...). And for the first time, we have Arabic Songs arranged with quarter tones. Our aim is to show the real civilized image of the Arab world and to spread our rich Music.

Our repertoire is all original, written by choir members and has emerged as a new tribal choral tradition that honors death as a natural, expected, sometimes very inspiring event in a life. While we don't require auditions, our welcome process is rigorous. This kind of singing is spiritual work and is deeply rewarding for those who are called to it.

Using the simple view that a good song is a good song, has meant that they bring together a collection of pieces that appeal to a wide audience. the choir delights in introducing new Songs that are connected by their unique choral sound, rather than from a particular genre and it is this wide appeal and their sense of fun that has meant the group is in constant demand and continually attracts new members. Even in its early days the choir never quite conformed to the accepted norms of what should be included in their repertoire. However, this in no way hindered its appeal and it went on to win a number and prestigious competitions including one of the largest Eisteddfods for male choirs in Wales, an award for services to the arts from Chelmsford City Council and passed the advanced choral singing examination of the Associated Board of the Royal College of Music Successive musical directors contributed the choir`s ...    less

We rehearse every Tuesday, 6:30pm-9:00pm, in central London between Kings Cross and St Paul's.
