This song was written by Ralph Schmitt who (amongst other things) leads the Rodean Girls School Choir (Johannesburg). We had the pleasure of learning this from them at a workshop before a joint concert in 2010. If you hunt YouTube you can find several clips of them performing it magnificently. The East Central University Department of Music as part of the School of Fine Arts is housed in the beautiful Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. The Department has over two hundred participating students of which approximately half are music majors. We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
