We are an auditioned chamber choir of 30-40 members who Love sharing the joy of choral singing with each other and our community. Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of musical genres and styles. Because we seek to create meaningful musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances. Our audience members often tell us how much they Love learning about the music from our director’s comments, which help them more fully enter into the music and enjoy it.  less

Student membership includes students from all disciplines that Love to sing and enjoy camaraderie through great music. It is intended to provide a foundation in area of vocal technique while achieving a high standard of excellence in repertoire selected from all periods and musical styles. This ensemble is offered every fall and spring semester.

During choir recruiting there was no audition, skills assessme...  moreThe Antidotum choir from Kielce, Poland, is a group of friends who Love to sing and dared to reach for a dream and in 2009 created a choir as a remedy – hence Antidote- for everyday duties. During choir recruiting there was no audition, skills assessment or notes reading required. Positive energy and desire to sing was all that mattered. Conductor Ewa Robak, PhD agreed to lead this unusually formed group. Her professionalism helped overcome doubts and proved that amateur singing can astonish both performers and their listeners. This exciting and full of surprises adventure continues today with well-received concerts, charity performances and Piesniobrania – sing-alongs with city residents joining Antidotum in squares and concert halls.
