Our repertoire spans the centuries, from the Renaissance to the 21st Century. Our particular speciality is folk music from all over the globe. Cantóirí sings each song in the original language. We are lucky as we have been able to draw on the language skills of choir members from around the world. Cantóirí perform regularly in Dublin and also enjoy taking part in Choral competitions around the country.

It has gone on to perform in more than 150 concerts, broadcasts on BBC Radios 2, 3, 4, the World Service and Classic FM and has appeared on BBC's Songs of Praise and The One Show.

A select mixed ensemble that focuses on masterworks from the 17th century to the present with emphasis given to larger works. With a membership of 65-70 musicians from throughout the campus, this ensemble is quickly becoming recognized for its musical exc...  moreA select mixed ensemble that focuses on masterworks from the 17th century to the present with emphasis given to larger works. With a membership of 65-70 musicians from throughout the campus, this ensemble is quickly becoming recognized for its musical excellence. Recent concerts have included Johann Sebastian Bach’s Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden, Samuel Barber’s Reincarnations and Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb. Strong sight-reading skills and musicianship are important to membership. This ensemble is directed by Dr. Jonathan Babcock, associate director of choral activities. We rehearse every Thursday night from 7-8:30 pm. Our members not only enjoying get together to sing some of their most favourite songs but also having a catch up with each other every week.
