The BSRU Concert Choir is the largest vocal ensemble in the BSRU Voice and Choral Studies Program at the College of Music, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhar University, Bangkok, Thailand. The Choir is directed by Dr Casey Broadway.

Founded in 1962, the A Cappella Choir continues the tradition of choral excellence built by Dr. Edgar J. Thompson. Thompson. The 40-80 member A Cappella Choir offers freshman and sophomore singers the opportunity to perform works for larger Choirs and to fine-tune the art of choral singing through exposure to music from the Renaissance through the 21st century. In daily rehearsals, Choir members hone musicianship skills such as rhythm, sight-reading and the understanding of complex scores. They develop an understanding of the intricacies of vocal production, including pitch and how to blend individual voices together into a unified, beautiful sound. Finally, members learn how to sing in an ensemble and to successfully meld as a team. The Choir frequently performs with other School of Music ensembles, including the Utah Philharmonia orchestra, the Wind Ensemble, the Chamber Choir and Women’s Chorus. Together these w...  moreIn English- Chamber Choir Cantinovum (established in 1989) is the youthful and ambitious Choir of the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences (JAMK) directed by Rita Varonen. Their name originates from the Latin words canti and novum. Together these words become the identity of the Choir and mean 'new song'. At present, there are approximately 30 singers in the Choir for whom music is a passionate interest – for many it is also a future profession. Many of the singers, either study or work at the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences or the University of Jyväskylä. The repertoire of Cantinovum is colorful and varied. It spans from folk music to sacred music and from Renaissance to modern composers. It is very characteristic of Cantinovum to perform songs that have been specially composed for them. They have had the honour of premiering more than a dozen compositions both nationally and internationally.
