PG Carnivalesque" under the patronage of Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech, attracted several hundred People who listened to daring performances of popular pop music hits. During the performance we heard choral arrangements of hits such as: "Dancing Queen", "Memory", "California Dreamin'" and "Maria". This time it was not Mozart or Bach, but ABBA, Queen and Songs from the musical West Side Story that graced the walls of the Gdansk University of Technology in carnivalesque musical artistic creations. Jazz musicians performed along with the choir, and the musical effects were accompanied by a unique lighting arrangement, which required appropriate space and audience arrangement. the more-than-hour-long performance by the Academic Choir of the Gdańsk University of Technology, conducted by Prof. Mariusz Mróz and accompanied by musicians from the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, ended with joint singing, encores and a standing ovation.  less

"Yes, we mean this, we shall take care of this land/ sacred place, and do what is right". This is from the OK Chorale's first ever public concert in Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK on 24 March 2012. Not the best of lighting! Also a bit wobbly in places as it was many of the singers' first time in front of an audience. www.chrisrowbury.com

What have we done? We shall meet in heaven This outdoor performance was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. there are no auditions and all Songs are taught and learnt by ear. Usually eight Songs are learnt in six two-hour sessions and in the summer are performed outdoors near Ipswich. http://chrisrowbury.com  less
