All members are professional singers and musicians, all of them graduated the Higher Musical Academy in Lviv and their diverse musical backgrounds contribute to the musical expression of the ensemble.The group is flexible in number to expend into different styles of singing. All music are performed a cappella. The main areas of speciality are Orthodox church music (liturgical), folk and popular Ukrainian songs and some examples of original Ukrainian, world music as well as well-known a cappella classics. ORPHEUS also perform new songs - composed and arranged by the group members themselves, all of them featuring surprising and exciting arrangements. less

CANTALA, Lawrence University Women’s Choir perform a perfect version of "Almas de Barro" by Santiago Veros live in concert on October 12, 2019 in Lawrence Memorial Chapel under the direction of Dr. Phillip A. Swan.
Foreward:
Santiago Veros wrote Almas de Barro at the age of 19, dedicating it to a young woman who at the time was shy and with whom he rarely talked. This piece intimately describes the moments during music theory classes when the two would look at each other continuously, youthfully, and silently, as if unable to do anything
else.
The piece, written as a counterpoint assignment, was intended to be performed during music theory class as a declaration of love. The idea was to make a musical representation of those moments. The piece begins without words, the voices representing youthful looks. They come together and occasionally dodge each other to highlight the discomfort ... less

"Tell Me Where is Fancy Bred"選自《威尼斯商人》（The Merchant of Venice）第三幕之第二景。《威尼斯商人》為莎士比亞戲劇中涉及音樂較多的一齣，女主角波西亞（Portia）繼承了父親龐大的遺產，追求者絡繹不絕；波西亞的父親臨終前規定求婚者必須從三個分別由金、銀、鉛製成的箱子中，挑出一個內藏波西亞畫像的，才能與她成婚。
這日，輪到波西亞的意中人巴珊尼歐（Bassanio）來求婚了，但礙於家規，波西亞不能向巴珊尼歐吐露箱內實情，心中的焦躁可想而知，便讓家僕哼起這首〈告訴我愛情來自何方〉作為答案的暗示。
就歌詞而言，暗示性極為明顯，要巴珊尼歐勿以貌取物，因為美麗的事物總是倏忽而逝。在金、銀、鉛三個箱子中，當然要以鉛箱最為樸實無華了，聰明的巴珊尼歐自然不難領會其中的意味。另一個耐人尋味的地方是在這首小曲中音韻方面的暗示，三行的尾韻分別為bred [εd]、head [εd]、nourished [εd]，這開始的三個尾韻和鉛（lead）一字不謀而合！
曲目一畢，巴珊尼歐毫不猶豫地選擇了鉛箱，人財兩得，抱得美人歸。 less

PSM FKM UNDIP adalah sarana bagi mahasiswa FKM dalam menyalurkan hobby dan bakat dalam bidang vocal khususnya paduan suara. PSM FKM UNDIP beranggotakan sekitar 80 mahasiswa dan mahasiswi FKM yang terjaring melalui seleksi vokal dan wawancara komitmen. Sebagai pembina yang masih aktif sampai sekarang adalah beliau Ibu Yuliani Setyaningsih, SKM, MKes yang juga sebagai kepala kepeminatan K3 (Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja).
Sebagai UKK yang bergerak dalam bidang olah vokal PSM FKM UNDIP mempunyai beberapa agenda yaitu mengisi wisuda fakultas dan acara-acara seminar di FKM setiap tahunnya,selain itu juga sebagai pengisi acara dalam Dies Natalis baik tingkat fakultas maupun tingkat UNDIP.
