It's a lot of fun! We welcome All levels of singers ages 12 thru senior in high School and there is no audition required. We are part of the School of Rock program and this is a paid program. Whichever stage our members are experiencing in their personal musical journeys, the IFC is filled with enriching opportunities to learn and grow both as musicians and as individuals. This work reflects some of the history of Manchester as seen through the eyes of local poet Audrey Vaughan, including its origins around the river Irwell, the original monastery which became Manchester Cathedral, the industrial revolution, the Peterloo Massacre, and the singing of church and cathedral choirs up to the present day.
