Formed in 2008, VoG is proud to be the Hell's Kitchen, New York Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). Voices of Gotham is open to all singers in the TTBB range interested in the barbershop style.
Since the Chorus' founding in 2008, VoG has rapidly distinguished itself as one of the country's leading incubators of both new barbershop music, and of young musical artists who will shape the continuing evolution and excellence of the barbershop tradition. VoG is ranked by the BHS as one of the top ten barbershop Choruses worldwide. With over 85 members and growing, VoG is a dues-paying organization that includes high school and college students, professional actors and musicians, and people of all walks of life who simply enjoy raising their voices in song. less

We aim to give two or three concerts each year, plus a Christmas concert of music and readings. We are based in the village of Rolleston-on-Dove near Burton-upon-Trent, and draw our members – numbering around 50 at present - from a wide area of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.

Our repertoire ranges from the traditional to the contemporary, from sacred to 'songs from the shows', from Wagner to Rod Stewart. We maintain a good balance of concert and social activities. We practice every Tuesday night from 7.45pm to 9.30pm at Stithians Methodist Chapel. We have made a number of recordings including (with Stithians Ladies Choir) five well known Sankey Albums. these can be obtained through our web site. less
