We have performed on BBC Radio London, at Wembley Stadium, and recorded an advert at studios where Harry Potter and Shrek were made. We meet on Wednesdays, 4.30-5.30pm in NW3, and There are no auditions. We sing a wide variety of music, including classical, Disney, musical Theatre, rock, pop and music from around The world. After a £20 three-week trial (not an audition, just to see if your child enjoys The Choir), The fee is £10 for each remaining week of term (siblings 25% off, discount available if you have concerns about paying). The group is made up of twenty-somethings (mostly!) who are young professionals living in London. Founded by singers and beatboxers from The likes of The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, Last Choir Standing and Britain's Got Talent favourites Out of The Blue, The group’s repertoire spans from Billy Joel to The Black Eyed Peas, via pop, jazz, barbershop, rap and original composition as They offer a programme of sumptuous jazz arrangements, genre jumping covers and assorted originals. Following a successful run at The Edinburgh Fringe, The Refrains enjoyed a sold-out London debut at The Forge, Camden. Recent gigs have included The London A Cappella Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Silver Bullet and private events.
