We are an adult all-volunteer Chorus with a membership that spans nationalities, generations and professions — united by a passion for Music and singing. Some of our members have had a lifetime of Music and choral experience; others are only just beginning to discover the joy of singing. Whichever stage our members are experiencing in their personal Musical journeys, the IFC is filled with enriching opportunities to learn and grow both as Musicians and as individuals. The IFC is committed to sharing our love for Music and choral singing with the community through two formal concerts a year and additional performances at private and public events.  less

The limit of the chorister is maximum 35-37 per Choir (including the conductor and the Choir’s leader). The program of the Choir ensemble must be on the category of CLASSICAL, POP, ROCK, JAZZ, or FOLK Music. The choice of program it’s free without limit of the instruments that may accompany the Choir ensemble. The duration of performance shall not exceed 20 minutes per performance. The Choir ensembles may have tree performances during the Festival. The following application documents must be provided by the closing date June, 01.Accommodation shall be organized from the organizers in student hostels in Skopje. The participants shall be placed in rooms with 2 or 3 beds, breakfast is included. The accommodation for the participants is free  less

Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining Music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the Music closer to the people and to present the Music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All Choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival. Gospel Choir is based in Essex, but occasionally strays beyond! Celebrating our tenth anniversary in 2013, the Choir was formed in 2003 after director Jen and accompanist Jane were missing taking part in Music, having left university. Starting well, with about 15 members the Choir has fluctuated in size, settling early on into a Choir of 8. In 2010 however, the Choir doubled in size and we are pleased that this core of almost 20 people has stuck! Choir members range from 7 years old to 77! We are a sociable bunch with an emphasis on singing for fun. We don’t put people through an audition and being able to read Music isn’t necessary. A good third of the Choir don't read Music. Being able to sing in tune is an advantage though! We have performed at weddings and parties across Essex and Suffolk, for the Women's Institute, local churches, at fetes, town open nights and charity concerts at the Mercury, Headgate and Towngate theatres. We don't pay our singers for performing - we do it for the love! ...    less
