The ensemble performs masterworks of the choral-orchestral repertoire such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Orff's Carmina Burana, as well as opera choruses, a cappella repertoire, and works specially composed for them. Performances include world-renowned guest soloists and musicians. The ensemble is directed by internationally acclaimed conductor and composer Steven Sametz. Lehigh University Choral Union has performed at New York's Carnegie Hall and has toured internationally in China, Portugal, Hawaii, Italy, Spain, Austria and Hungary. No audition is required but the ability to read music is helpful.  less

The music we perform represents a crossover of the jazz and pop...  moreAbout the KCKCC Vocal Jazz Program: The KCKCC Vocal Jazz Program takes pride in performing professional-level vocal jazz ensemble literature. Our program has grown to 3 vocal jazz Ensembles. The music we perform represents a crossover of the jazz and popular music idioms. The students in the KCKCC VJ program learn Jazz Education through a variety of methods. First of all, each of these students take private vocal jazz coachings weekly. They also perform music by professional vocal Ensembles, arrangements by well-known vocal jazz educators, and learn jazz and popular music standards (both through the ensemble and in private coachings).  less

Le Festival SAWT (3ème édition - Du 12 au 15 Avril 2017) Le Cantique de Jean Racine est une œuvre pour chœur mixte à 4 voix et orgue (il existe deux orchestrations datées de 1875 et de 1901). Cette œuvre est une vraie réussite pour un jeune compositeur âgé de seulement 19 ans.
