The Milton Community Choir was formed in early 2017 by a bunch of people that really had a Passion for singing. We rehearse every Thursday night from 7-8:30 pm. The Connecticut Master Chorale, founded and directed by Tina Johns Heidrich in 1999, is a premier ensemble of 55 professional-caliber vocalists with a precise blend and balance. We present two performances per season in Western Connecticut. We present two performances per season in Western Connecticut. Our Holiday Prelude Concerts are accompanied by the Connecticut Master Chorale Holiday Brass, and our Spring Concerts are accompanied by the Connecticut Master Chorale Orchestra. In addition to the regularly scheduled performances, our accomplishments include a Christmas Concert at the White House, a U.S. premiere performance at Lincoln Center, three Carnegie Hall appearances, as well as concerts at West Point, Madison Square Garden, and with the Ridgefield Symphony - all by invitation. We won the annual McDonald’s Gospelfest Competition three years in a row and have appeared on ABC TV. The Greenwood Chorale is made up of singers from the greater Greenwood region who enjoy singing choral music together. We sing both sacred and non-sacred music covering a broad spectrum of music periods.
