The mission of Nashville Singers is to entertain, educate, unite and uplift their audiences and members through music that is distinguished for its innovation, diversity and artistic excellence. Their philanthropic mission of Nashville Singers is to provide funding and support for music education in our Schools and the community. The Singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of the chorus. By the end of their sophomore year, Nashville Singers had learned 24 songs, released their first CD, performed for 15 organizations across Middle Tennessee, and produced a successful concert series which attracted attendees from 36 cities in eight states across the U...    less

Their unique sound is characterised by its vibrancy and fullness, a result of the bel canto technique which all the Singers are trained in.

All members of Newquay Male Voice Choir, they are a rehearsed, a Cappella, male chorus with a repertoire consisting of over 100 songs including Shanties, Cornish folk, 1960s classics, seasonal & sacred music. Their 4-part harmony and infectious humour has brought them popularity as their repertoire and reputation have grown. Entertaining for pleasure, they raise thousands of pounds for voluntary, charity & community groups. £1200 profit from donations and their first CD was donated to “The Cove” Cancer Centre and further donations have been made to RNLI and Cornwall Blood Bikes (who have received more than £3400 as their current charity). Live broadcasts on local radio and a recording by ‘Spotlight’ for BBC Television followed. The concert closed with a performance by The Suntones and the Nashville Singers singing Gene Cokeroft's stirring arrangement of Danny Boy, with solos by Gene and son Bruce.
