The choir’s performance is sometimes a cappella, while at other times accompanied by a jazz trio or piano. Sectional rehearsals are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays (11 to 11:50AM).

Bairstow, Poem by Shelly) Das "Ensemble quartonal" wurde im Jahr 2006 von vier ehemaligen Mitgliedern der Chorknaben Uetersen gegründet. Im Mai 2010 konnte das junge Quartett beim Deutschen Chorwettbewerb den 1. Preis in der erstmals ausgeschriebenen Kategorie der klassischen Ensembles gewinnen und wurde damit über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannt. Diese Aufnahme stammt von einem Konzert im Lübecker Dom.

In 1961, Dow discontinued its MUSIC Department and th...  moreThe Men of MUSIC (MOM) chorus consists of men from the Midland, Michigan area who like to sing. It was founded in 1936 as the Dow Male Chorus with membership from the men of the Dow Chemical Company. In 1961, Dow discontinued its MUSIC Department and the chorus became the Men of MUSIC and along with the rest of the Dow MUSIC Department formed The MUSIC Society under director Ted Vosburgh. Since then there were several women directors who continued to lead the chorus. The Men of MUSIC continues today providing excellant men's four part harmony with our present very talented director, Grace Marra, who joined the chorus in 1994. We also appreciate the talents of Laurie Habedank who serves as our accompanist.  less

Since 2006, when Gary Weidenaar took the baton, the choir has received invitations to appear at four state & regional conferences: Meticulous attention is given to performing MUSIC of various periods or parts of the world in the style appropriate to that era or culture including adjustments of not only style but tone color also. Recent clinics with guests Chanticleer and Weston Noble have helped the choir grow and the Choir regularly premiers new works by composers.  less

The group is composed of talented students of the college from different levels, gathered together by their common passion, the passion for singing. But talent and passion is not enough, rehearsing is also one of the essential elements in creating good MUSIC.
