Josip Hatze is a Croatian composer and conductor, born in Split in 1879. The song "Ljuven sanak" (a sweet dream) is the first song in a cycle called "Pjesni ljuvene" (songs of love), that were sang and recorded by Vocal Ensemble Brevis from Osijek in 2008.

It was an open invitation for men who wanted the informal experience of singing within the ranks of a Welsh Male Vocie Choir and it proved to be a huge success. Several guests turned up for the experience and were treated to the full basics of vocal production and singing within the choir by John Daniel. The work depicts the revelation to t...  morePerry Joyce is a young multi-award winning composer based in Perth, and is a tenor in The Giovanni Consort. He conducts this performance of his work "The Annunciation", scored for solo soprano and unaccompanied chorus. The work depicts the revelation to the Virgin Mary by the Angel Gabriel that she will conceive a son to be the saviour of humankind. The Giovanni Consort is a chamber vocal ensemble based in Perth, Western Australia. The group performs a wide range of Choral music from medieval to modern times and is renowned for its exquisite musicianship and attention to detail. This video was recorded at their December 2012 concert, "Hodie Christus" in the Dining Hall of St. George's College at the University of Western Australia.
