The Choir has a wide-ranging repertoire – from traditional sacred music to modern, contemporary compositions, popular arrangements and music from around the world. They perform regular Concerts in London and the South East, as well as touring each year, with recent trips including Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Greece. In 2025 the Choir celebrated their 10th Birthday year, and the 25th anniversary of the founding of Northern Spirit Singers. Rehearsing monthly in central London, Southern Spirit Singers aim to perform the very highest standards of choral music in a relaxed and fun environment. In 2019 the Choir returned with four gold medals from the European Choir Games in Gothenburg. Within the Choir there are acting two ensembles: Children’s Choir «Brevis» (vocalists from 13 to 18 years of age) and a Vocal ensemble «Brevis» (girls Choir - vocalist from 18 to 30 years of age). All of the vocalists started their «internship in singing» with well-known Children’s Choir of Osijek, i.e. «Osječki zumbići» (Tiny mosquitoes of Osijek). The words are my own and tell of children playing their games in the dusty streets (ie of Bethlehem) unaware that a miracle has happened and asking them to look up to the angels and join their singing. The performance here is by the Composer's Choir conducted by Daniel Shaw.
